ReplyDeleteThe $288 for July should be the last time my monthly dividends are below $300. I just sold some of my previous mutual funds and invested it in some quality dividend growers. Have a look at the 'dividend income' and 'contributions' page for more details, you'll see quite a lot of purchases in the July column. This is why my forward average monthly income jumped up so much.
I started investing in dividend growth stocks around June 2013, so I have been going at it for just over a year now. Before that I had some money in mutual funds, but the more I learned, the less I appreciated the 1% expense ratio. And I actually enjoy reading up on and researching individual companies.
